 A stroll through time

The walk will take us to the heart of the Great Park's 4000acres where we see medieval boundaries and trees as ancient as the park itself, through to the designed landscape of the 18c  and on to where we are now that includes a school and a vineyard. Great views of  Windsor Castle and the Long Walk to be seen.

Meeting place and time as for last walk in the Cranbourne car park opposite Cranbourne Gate on the A332.Stout shoes but Wellington boots not necessary. Distance 3 miles and will take about 21/2 hours

This walk will be led by Bill Cathcart, recently retired as superintendent of Windsor Great Park

If you would like to join the group for a local pub lunch following the walk, please contact Patsy Thornton on patsy@thorntac.co.uk
