Throughout 2010 and 2011 U3As combine to walk and study the Thames Footpath and its environs.

The Initiation Meeting will be on Wednesday 21 April 2010 in Goring Village Hall. The end of the project will be a 3 day residential Study School to be held at Wellington College, Crowthorne in October 2011.

SUMMER SCHOOL 15 September 2010 at Merton College, Oxford

We are running a study day with Merton College to include lunch and dinner in hall to give the taste of college life. There will be talks on the history of Oxford University and the College system, the development of the University over the centuries and its development into the future. There will also be a guided tour of Merton College. A Flyer and Application Form are attached. Please send your applications as soon as possible if you would like to attend. There is a reduction in the cost if you are not wishing to stay for dinner in the evening although Merton is reckoned to be one of the best dining halls in Oxford. At least that is what they tell us.
